2. Data collection when visiting our website

2.1 If you use our website solely for information purposes, i.e. without registering or otherwise providing us with information, we collect only the data that your browser transmits to the website server (known as “Server-Logfiles”). When you access our website, we collect the following data, which we require for technical reasons to display the website to you:

  • The page of our website visited
  • Date and time of access
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Source/referral from which you reached the page
  • Browser used
  • Operating system used
  • IP address used (in anonymised form where applicable)

Processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. The data is not disclosed or otherwise used. However, we reserve the right to review the Server-Logfiles retrospectively if specific indications suggest unlawful use.

2.2 For security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (e.g. orders or enquiries addressed to the controller), this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” string and the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar.

The following also applies to this website: the fonts used are provided locally. Accessing the website does not establish a connection to Google Fonts servers or other external font providers. No services for reach measurement, visitor analytics or advertising tracking are used.

3. Hosting & Content-Delivery-Network

Our website is hosted by Lovable Labs Sweden AB, Regeringsgatan 25, 111 53 Stockholm, Schweden. The provider supplies its services itself or through selected subprocessors. When you access our website, the access data specified in section 2 (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, browser information) is processed on the provider’s servers. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable provision of our website pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Server location and possible transfers to third countries: the website may be delivered via a globally distributed Content-Delivery-Network. The specific server location, any transfers to third countries and the applicable safeguards under Art. 44 ff. DSGVO (e.g. an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses) are set out in the data processing agreement and the provider’s list of subprocessors.

This data is processed on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO. The Server-Logfiles are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose for which they were collected and no statutory retention obligations preclude deletion.

Domain management and email communication

We use the services of STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Deutschland to manage our domain and provide our email services. Email communication may involve processing, in particular, sender and recipient addresses, the time of communication, the subject, message content and technical connection data. Processing serves to handle business enquiries and conduct pre-contractual or contractual communication on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO, and to safeguard our legitimate interests in reliable business communication pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

4. Cookies

To make visiting our website appealing and enable certain functions, we use cookies, which are small text files stored on your device. Some cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser (known as “Session-Cookies”); others remain on your device for longer and allow website settings to be saved (known as “persistent cookies”). In the latter case, you can find the storage period in your web browser’s cookie settings overview.

Where individual cookies we use also process personal data, processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO for performance of the contract, pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO where consent has been given, or pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO to safeguard our legitimate interests in optimal website functionality and a user-friendly and efficient website experience.

You can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are set and to decide individually whether to accept them, or to reject cookies in specific cases or altogether. Please note that refusing cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

Current status of this website: only technically necessary functions and storage are used, such as local browser storage (Local or Session Storage) for displaying the start sequence once and for the selected language. This information is not transmitted to us and is not used to analyse your behaviour. The legal basis is § 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

5. Contacting us

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, the data you provide (name, email address, company, message) is stored to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions.

The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (steps prior to entering into a contract) or lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). Your data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected and no statutory retention obligations preclude deletion.

Technical handling of contact forms

The enquiry forms on our website (consultation enquiry and distributor enquiry) do not independently transmit your details to a server or store them on the website or in a database. Submitting the form opens the email application on your device and creates a pre-filled message to info@proseq.de. Transmission takes place only when you send this email yourself. The information processed consists of the details you enter, depending on the form in particular your name, company, email address, telephone number, country, website, intended application or desired model and your message, as well as the technical data of your email.

Email provider

Incoming emails are received and processed via our email provider STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Deutschland. The business email addresses of our domain are operated through STRATO.

Retention period

Enquiries and the associated personal data are deleted once the enquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations, contractual requirements or other legitimate grounds preclude deletion. In the absence of such grounds, deletion takes place no later than six months after handling has been completed.

6. Website features

YouTube

This website uses plugins to display and play videos from the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Irland. Data may also be transferred to: Google LLC., USA.

If you access a page of our website containing such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the provider’s servers to load the content, at the latest when video playback starts. Certain information, including your IP address, is transmitted to the provider in the process.

When playback of embedded videos is started via the plugin, the provider also uses cookies to collect information on user behaviour, compile playback statistics and prevent abusive behaviour.

If you are logged into a user account with the provider during your visit, your data is linked directly to your account when you click on a video. If you do not want it linked to your account, you must log out before pressing the play button.

All the processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies to read information on the device used, takes place only if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US-Datenschutzrahmen (EU-US Data Privacy Framework), which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the Europäischen Kommission.

7. Tools and miscellaneous

Cookie-Consent-Tool

This website uses a “Cookie-Consent-Tool” to obtain valid user consent for cookies and cookie-based applications requiring consent. The “Cookie-Consent-Tool” is displayed when users access the site as an interactive interface where consent for specific cookies and/or cookie-based applications can be given by ticking boxes. The tool ensures that all cookies/services requiring consent are loaded only if the user has given the corresponding consent by ticking the relevant boxes.

The tool sets technically necessary cookies to store your cookie preferences. As a rule, no personal user data is processed in this connection.

If personal data (such as an IP address) is nevertheless processed in individual cases to store, assign or log cookie settings, this is done pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO on the basis of our legitimate interest in legally compliant, user-specific and user-friendly cookie consent management and thus in a legally compliant website.

A further legal basis for processing is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO. As controller, we are legally obliged to make the use of technically non-essential cookies conditional on the respective user’s consent.

Where required, we have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that safeguards our visitors’ data and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.

Where personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO, it is stored until you exercise your right to object under Art. 21 Abs. 1 DSGVO, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Unless the other information in this policy regarding specific processing situations provides otherwise, stored personal data is otherwise deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
